Zena Moses, a New Orleans native, began her musical career in 2007. Known for her wide vocal range and creative freedom, she captivates audiences with soulful ballads and energetic dance tunes. Zena’s style blends Funk, Soul, Jazz, Hip-Hop, Reggae and R&B, showcasing the raw essence of New Orleans. She has performed with bands like Gene’s Music Machine, Brassaholics, and Big Sam Funky Nation, and founded her own band, Rue Fiya, in 2009. Zena has graced stages at notable venues and festivals, including the New Orleans Jazz Festival, French Quarter Fest, and River Jam Festival. In addition to music, Zena has acted in stage plays such as “Live at The Funky Butt” and “Baduizm.” Her passion for keeping New Orleans music alive drives her continued performances in the city and beyond.
