In 2026, Big Mike and his band won 1st Place in New Orleans at the International Blues Challenge and finished Top 3 internationally, establishing themselves as one of today's most exciting contemporary blues acts.

Big Mike has performed at major festivals and venues including Chicago Blues Festival, Taste of Chicago, the Montreal International Jazz Festival, Tampa Bay Blues Festival, Fort Mose Jazz & Blues Festival, and many others. He has toured throughout the United States and internationally with acclaimed Chicago blues artist Sheryl Youngblood, performing in France, Belgium, Germany, Romania, Mexico, India, and beyond.
