Keep It Rolling Brass Band is a young, high-energy collective of talented musicians hailing from New Orleans, Louisiana. Founded in 2017 while its members were still in high school, the band cut their chops the traditional way — performing in some of the city’s most storied locations, including Jackson Square, Bourbon Street, the French Market, and Frenchmen Street. Playing for visitors and locals alike in the French Quarter, they quickly built a multi-generational repertoire. Alongside beloved brass band standards, their setlist spans genres and eras — from Bobby Womack’s “Across 110th Street” to Mario’s “Let Me Love You.” This versatility has become a hallmark of their sound. Their professional rise came swiftly. In 2018, they made their second-line debut in the Big 7 Social Aid & Pleasure Club Parade, a major milestone for any emerging New Orleans brass band. Soon after, they were featured as the lead brass band in Ciara’s 2019 music video for her single “Dose.” Since then, Keep It Rolling Brass Band has performed for notable artists including Solange and Rob49, while also securing brand collaborations with Nike and Under Armour. As they’ve continued honing their craft, the band has added original compositions to their catalog — tracks like “Walker Like a Dog,” “Powerhouse,” and “Bourbon” — each contributing to their signature, forward-pushing sound. With plans to soon press their music to vinyl, audiences can rest assured that Keep It Rolling Brass Band will remain true to their name — continuing to push the brass band tradition forward while keeping New Orleans culture rolling worldwide.
